Well, I may be pouring cold water. Compared with HF radio, high end multimode VHF/UHF radios is of much less demand.
The current XV transverter series with K3 is also not quite a solution for serious V/U operators especially digital mode user. Frequency and power stability of K radio + XV transverters is often an issue for operation in V/U. I encountered this issue when I built a couple of XV transverters especially the XV432. Regrettably, there are only a few choices of transverters in the market. Perhaps, market demand is too limited to justify a profitable production. 73 Johnny VR2XMC ________________________________ 寄件人︰ Brian North <[email protected]> 收件人︰ [email protected] 傳送日期︰ 2014年02月1日 (週六) 4:02 PM 主題︰ Re: [Elecraft] Would anyone like to see an all-mode VHF/UHF offering from Elecraft? Not wanted here. I already have the best rig ever: K3/100 thank-you. '73. 2E0BWQ. If you have nothing good to say, say nothing!
