Hi Mike, The mount was never developed because there were too many good alternatives available elsewhere. This doesn't mean we won't market a mobile mount, but I would say it's not really in our plan at this time.
One of the best alternatives I've found can be seen here: http://www.rammount.com/Portals/0/Skins/NationalProducts/images/un42.jpg You would want to buy just the cradle portion, which National Products sells under a separate model number.
