Hi, I just ordered a KPA500. As I normally run barefoot, I was hoping that I could transmit/receive with the KPA500 totally off (ie, NOT in standby). After reading that it uses PIN diodes in its TR switch as opposed to a mechanical relay that would be off when unpowered, I thought I should confirm proper practice.
