I have the W2 between the K3 and the KPA500.  Its useful to monitor what the K3 
is looking at and its power output and the KPA500 meter is showing its output 
power.

I have and use the W2. It is fed by coax as follows:
K3-KPA500-KAT500-W2-Antenna.  It works great giving me a closer approximation 
of what the antenna looks like before it gets tuned by the KAT500.
