I agree. A friend wanted to try out 6m FM simplex (a new ant) and when I did I ran into heat problems. After a bit of fumbling I realized it was the KX3, not the amp, and that's when it hit me - no temp display.
Funny that at this same time all the "heat sink" chatter comes to a peak.
