UNPLUG WHATEVER IS PLUGGED INTO THE MIC JACK!!!!! Now use menu to set mic btns OFF and PTT to OFF.
Sounds like a TRS plug in a TRRS jack. The two middle rings are used for PTT and Freq UP/DN.
