I have been using the combo of K3 and Expert 1K-FA for the last 5 years. I
have shared my impressions here couple of times and so did several others.
Just try the achieve search. There is also a reflector devoted to SPE amps
and there are several people who uses the combination.

Hi everyone!
All this talk about SPE got me looking at those amps.
How much are they? Can't seem to find any prices.
That 1K-FA looks interesting. Does it play with the K3 as well as the
KPA-500?
I heard that KPA-500 has some functionality that can only be used with the
K3. I'm assuming its the band switching using the buttons on the amp
itself.
Is there something else that is specific to that combo?
I'm sure someone here is using a K3 with that SPE amp. Can you share your
thoughts?
