Retuning to preset frequencies is a plus when operating with same antennas. It is a problem with portable antennas. If a portable antenna has a bandwidth of 300KHz, why should it require a retune every 20 KHz? I would vote for a menu choice to select either presets or tuning on demand as in K2.
