Hello,
This Saturday, Dec. 17th we plan on having another Polar Bear Moonlight
Madness Run. The actual full moon is on Dec. 15th but we are going to do it
on the weekend. The weather is going to be cold and clear so we should have
a good view of the moon for operations. So far there are 11 different Polar
Bear station that will be on the air. There will be a reporter from the
Allentown, PA Morning Call newspaper at the Pulpit Rock location. If you did
not hear about the interview I had on the Amateur Radio Newsline this past
week you can check it out on the EPA QRP Club web page.
All details about operation and the Amateur Radio Newsline interview can be
found at www.n3epa.org and click on the Polar Bear Events link. For details
on the Saturday operation click on the December link once in the Polar Bear
page.
There will be a lot of Elecraft rigs being used by Polar Bears!!
