Raymond, You reminded me that I also have some old stuff with a slide switch -- I remember that my Eico 720 transmitter has a slide switch for VFO/Crystal usage. But, I have never used that slide switch, I have no idea if it works or not. It is in the crystal usage position -- I never did have a VFO.
