Try using Internet Explorer to access the FTP site and copy the files to your computer's file system.
See K3 Utility Help, "Manual File Transfer" The URL for K3 firmware is ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/K3/firmware The URL for P3 firmware is ftp://ftp.elecraft.com/P3/firmware The K3 and P3 Utility use Windows WinInet.dll, which is also used by Microsoft Internet Explorer. You can save all the files in that folder in a folder in your computer's file system and then use the K3 / P3 Utility Firmware page and "browse" to that folder. If you can't reach the FTP site with Internet Explorer, the issue might be related to firewall software, or a browser cache or something along those lines. If you have alternate internet browsers, try one of those. I just accessed the FTP site with IE and the K3 Utility, so I believe the FTP site is up right now. Good luck!
