Thanks Bob Have checked the ribbon cable, even swapped one over from another KX3. If the KX3 is switched off for a couple of hours it will power up again. When I managed to power it up that seemed a good opportunity to reload the firmware which I did. After reloading the firmware I did the usual reboot only to be met with the 4 LEDs on again and no other sign off life. .
