The vast majority of amateur radio operators are male. The primary
"competition gene" in the human genome is on the Y-chromosome. Ergo,
males will make a sport out of anything ... islands, summits,
continents, zones ... even the weight of your radio.
The program is "Only a Game" and is produced at WBUR in Boston. There's
