Howdy Folks,
I had an enjoyable evening with my neighbors. I found I just may be related to their daughter in law through my mother's side near Carrington, North Dakota! Very small world indeed. As I suspected I was sent home with an elk back strap steak and an elk roast. They wanted to give me another black tail deer roast but I had enough for now.

I wanted to make sure you all know I'll be on the air running both nets tomorrow night. Mr. Tom is off to KS so will not be on the air. I hope the bands are strong enough to support a few coast to coast contacts or at least coast to middle of the continent contacts. We never can tell who will hear me so please try if you have a moment.

I want to wish all of the folks at Elecraft and all you folks who read this Reflector a safe and happy holiday season. My Christmas tree is burning brightly out through the fir trees. I saw it as I drove home and it looked very comforting. Thank you all for your support and good wishes throughout 2005 and into 2006. We will be fine here on our mountain in Oregon. The snow has left us however and it is now about 51 degrees Farenheit. There was some rain earlier so Oregon Winter is upon us :)

Until we meet on the air,
       73,
           Kevin. KD5ONS
