There's an 850 Hz RTTY station near the upper end of the band most evenings, fairly strong in N. Cal., which seems to be encrypted -- at least I can't print anything intelligible from it. It may be there 24/7 and fades due to daylight prop, don't know.

I've also heard a couple of the Russian single-letter beacons once or twice but they didn't hang around long.

I'll listen for the OTH noise tonight.
