Signalink USB does not provide a serial control interface for the rig.
You will not be able to control the K3 with *only* Signalink USB - you will need a traditional serial port, USB to serial adapter, or another interface that includes the USB to serial adapter function. With the proper hardware there is no problem controlling the K3 from fldigi or most other digital and/or logging programs that provide for rig control. 73, ...
