I am doing a complete aligment of my K2 during the weekend... just
for the fun of learning.... and in the KSB2 SSB manual, they said to
set OP1 for FL1 (filter on SSB board) for both SSB and CW. I
undertstand what is OP1, etc...
But my question is: Could I choose other than OP1 for the first CW
filter ?
My setup for CW only is FL1 = 1.5 kHz and FL2 = 500 Hz... both are
well aligned on 600 Hz peak with a spectrum analyzer. I don't want a
wide filter for CW.. like OP1. I understand that basic K2 crystal are
optimized for 700 Hz and below signal filter. And if I was using only
CW without the SSB board, I will be using the basic K2 filter only
anyway... so I think I am OK, but I only want to make sure that
including a SSB board do not change my understanding of how filter
works in the K2.
