This has been discussed many times, Alan; look back though the archives and you will find them. The problem is that we don't all share the same band edges. 160m, 80m, 60, 40m, 2m, among others in the UK are different from those in the USA. If we had the USA band edges we would certainly have the risk of operating outside our bands. Surely, with the clear display of the K3 and a copy of our licence document by our side, most of us have sufficient nous to keep within our bands.
