Hi Gary,

i had the same problem a few weeks ago.

Peter (DL2KI) by the German Elecraft service said that it might be a contact
problem.

I then removed the KAT3 and cleaned the contacts with a glass fibre brush.
Then everything was OK.

It could also be a contact problem on the connectors between front panel
module and main unit. The signals of the ATU are processed by the main
processor on the FP module.
