Do you have the Key Line Isolator in the K3 ACC connector line? I
suspect that may be the problem.

Tonite I disconnected the KPA500 from the K3 ACC port. I then connected the
RRC-1258 directly to the K3 ACC port. The RRC-1258 now powers the K3 off and
on, not just off. I find it hard to believe no one besides me has run into
this yet. I will wait for the return call from Elecraft support to resolve
the KPA500 problem. When I get an answer I will post it here....
