Don,

On the other hand, Wikipedia says:
Hex keys are measured across-flats (AF), which is the distance between two opposite (parallel) flat sides of the key. Standard metric sizes are defined in ISO 2936:2001 "Assembly tools for screws and nuts—Hexagon socket screw keys", also known as DIN 911, and, measured in millimetres (mm) are:

    0.7, 0.9, 1.0, 1.25, 1.3, 1.5
    2 to 6 in 0.5 mm increments
    7 to 22 in 1 mm increments
    24, 25, 27, 30, 32, 36, 42 and 46 mm.

So 1,25 mm does exist in the metric world and in my set there is one but I have the imperial set as well, including 0.05"

However, I do have kept the supplied wrenches for my K2 and KX3 apart together with some spare nuts and bolts...

David,

I don't believe you will find a proper fitting wrench in a set of metric
Allen wrenches. 1mm is too small and 1.5mm is too big :-) . Those with
only metric wrenches should guard the ones that come with the K1 (K2,
KX1, K3, KX3 etc.) carefully.

Can someone please tell me the size of the Allen wrench that is used
to attach the small knobs on a K1?

I have just measured mine, George, and it is 1.25mm, or 0.050" for
folks who are still using Imperial measurements.
