I know that this has been asked before, but as far as I can tell
the feature has not been implemented and I wonder if there is
any hope for the future.

When using the K3 as a remote station it is highly desirable
(read that as really essential) for a transmit time out system
to be in place. That is a system that forces a limit on
the transmit time before requiring PTT to cycle. I realize
that this can be added externally, but that is something of
a hack compared to having the radio do it.

This feature is present in pretty much every HF radio I can
think of, except the K3. I have no idea how close to the
ROM limit the K3 is, but absent that constraint the feature is
surely trivial to implement, particularly as the K3 already has
a real time clock. If space or development time are an issue
even a fixed time of say 10 minutes would be a step forward.

Apologies if it has crept in and I have not noticed, but is
there any chance of adding this simple feature?
