IMHO .... There is far too much emphasis put on chasing "perfect" SWR readings.
Except in rare instances SWR's of 2:1 or less are OK in the real world, and most would be hard-pressed to tell any difference. I have a friend who recently spent several days fretting and climbing over a reading of 1.7: 1....
