About 756 years ago (actually last month -- it just seems like a long time ago) I sold my K3 and am now waiting for a new one, however with that K3 (that I owned for 5 years), started having issues with Width and Shift encoders. I finally discovered if I turned off QSK and QRQ, those problems disappeared. So you might check the setting of QRQ and QSK to see if that solves the responsiveness of those encoders.
