I recall Eric mentioning an advantage to connecting the headset boom mic to the rear panel headphone and mic connectors. The manufacturer of the headset advised this was not preferable due to the potential for ground loops on the mic side. Has anyone had any experience with ground loops on the mic from headsets connected to the rear jacks? I'd love to use them to free up the front of the rig.
