Bill, You would like to say that "many of the screws on the outside of the K3 were loose" during service works at Elecraft? I am a bit worrying in that case as my radio is coming back to home also and the placing and enough tightening all the screws is mandatory to keep down the internal noise as same as keep most birdies off... Nevertheless I am still confident to guys from Elecraft service!
