Yes, ARRL Labs tests are damning, though you would never realize it if you only read the text. When is ARRL going to assign technically competent authors to these reviews?
That said, Flex did issue firmware/software that is said to reduce keying sidebands. I've been trying to coordinate with a local 6700 owner to test it here.
