Me too (third it)!
It would be useful as well if one could go from say FL4 straight back to FL3
(for one VFO) without having to go to FL1, then FL2 to get back to FL3 - or
am I missing something and it can be done?

VFOFilterSettings
I second this motion!
The only thing I can think of that might be a problem is maintaining QSK
performance. That and the unknown ammount of area left for addional code
in
the firmware itself.
Wayne... A motion has been made and seconded. Can we take a vote and
then
a response from the chair?

Subject: [Elecraft] K2 Firmware Suggestion--Permitting Separate VFO
FilterSettings
Since Wayne and Eric are always looking for ideas from the peanut
gallery, here's my first K2 firmware suggestion.
When DXing and operating split (VFO A tuned to the DX station, VFO B on
the QSX frequency), it would be nice to be able to use a narrow filter
on
VFO A while using a wider filter on VFO B. This would allow DXers to
keep the DX signal free of QRM with a narrow filter while tuning for
stations working the DX using a wider filter.
That's my operating preference--narrow filter on the DX's frequency,
wide
filter while searching for just the right QSX frequency in pileups.
Still having a great time with K2/100 S/N 5023, if I bought a second rig
right now it'd be another K2.
Good luck to all Elecrafters trying to work 6O0N over the next two
weeks.

John, N7ON
