Neat stuff Paul !

No concerns of thunder storms up there? I have lots of respect for lightning so have chosen my field day sites a little farther away from mountaintops.

I guess that is why it is called Adventure Radio Society.

Subject: [Elecraft] Field Day on Pikes Peak

The December 2005 Issue of the Adventure Radio Society (ARS) Journal has just
been posted.

This issue has an article of my 'Trail Day' activities on the Barr Trail last
summer.
It describes the Cog Rail trip up the side of Pikes Peak and the 4000 foot
hike down Barr Trail. It has pictures of Pedestrian Mobile operation at Barr
Camp, at 10,200 foot elevation.
It has a picture of the KX1 operating /pm too.
No one else was operating from Barr Camp so it was a good site for Field day.
The "Pedestrian Mobile: Reaching For a High on Pike's Peak"

article is on the ARS web site at http://www.ARSqrp.com/
or directly
