I'm in serious need of help from my fellow Elecrafters.
Rosin-tainted smoke lingers overhead as I toil with bleary eyes to assemble
a new K2, relying on the happy experience of a K1 build a short time ago. All
is bliss around my cozy workbench, but the XYL is hovering nearby and
threatening bodily mayhem! She says if she sees one more of those little notes
from this mysterious Ms. Christine about packing my bags for me, she's going to
do the job herself and send me on my way!
I can't help myself, these clandestine exchanges between myself and
Elecraft's "Lady of the Parts Room" have become the very soul of my existence!
I'm desperately seeking your support in pleading with Christine to shorten
her name to Chris. Maybe then the growing flurry of those little white papers
won't jeopardize my marriage. Help me out, fellas!!
