Fred Well for the Flex 6000 series you keep one hand on the so called AGC-T control. Since there is no hardware AGC you're doomed to constantly juggling the input level. I had one here and used the Flex Control knob to perform that function. Using it this way brings back memories of Pre-AGC days and frequent adjustment of the RF gain knob. Steve N4LQ
