If you are using the CW memory keys M1-M4 to send RTTY, add a "pipe" character ( I ) at the end of the message. The K3 will ignore the "pipe" character in CW mode, but will end the transmission immediately when it encounters it in RTTY (FSK D) mode. The "pipe" character is the upper case character on the same key as the backslash character. You can use the "Edit CW Memories..." function in the K3 Utility to add this character to your messages.

I'm sure this has been brought up before but I've been told that there's a hang time issue when I'm done transmitting RTTY. Some folks use a keyer and type IM. There's got to be a way to go to the config Macro to include this so I don't have to do it manually. Can someone walk me through the process of doing this once and for all?
