And there are a lot of good National Traffic System (NTS) nets on 75. Elecraft rigs are great for NTS too, not just for DX and contest work. (smile)

To be fair, there's also a large contingent of knowledgable operators to be found on this band, with expertise in SSB and AM signal quality, antennas, and amplifiers.
