Thanks, Brendon. Hopefully the miniaturization offered by SMT reduces the size of the antennas that radiate any trash. :) But that may be wishful thinking -- W6GJB encountered massive noise on HF that he tracked down to computer extension speakers with built-in power amps that were powered from a USB port. I suspect that this sort of circuit was used.
