Never mind. The schematic says nothing is connected to pin 5 or 6.

I have successfully removed the KPA3 module and find one pin missing.
On P68A pin # 6 is broken or cut flush with the header. The
corresponding socket opening seems to be filled with a plug. Since I
am not seeing any broken pin in the socket I think this is the way it
was designed. But as long as I have it open and the problem is power
out I may as well ask what is most probably a silly question.
