Good Evening,
Two very good nets this evening. Twenty meters was good but forty meters was great. More than once there was a wall of sound. Hail signs helped get a few out of the chaos. CZ and SS for Ken and Tom was how they got through earlier than others. The two bands were not all that bad tonight. A little QSB and some QRN but not too much. Unfortunately my heavy work earlier in the day made me rather tired. Stiff, slippery fingers did not help my sending any. Then when Wayne checked in I just about lost it! He kept telling me he would show up one day but was always busy with his kids or with his gadget crafting. Thanks Wayne, this is the second time I've worked you now. Don't be a stranger. Now that you have heard how we run things (loosely :) you know what to expect. Oh, almost forgot (I have been on the phone for the last hour and a half with an ECN regular) Ty checked in early on the 20 meter net followed a few QNI later by Ken. I asked Ken if he heard Ty and when the answer was in the affirmative asked them to try a contact. Well the jist of the story is that Ty now has North Dakota in his log book. Thank you for your help Ken. Thirty-one check ins total for the evening is very nice. Considering we are at or near the bottom of the sunspot cycle I think we had very good conditions. I am not sure what it will be like in two or three years. The pileups are hard enough now! What will happen then? Only time will tell. May have to figure out a method to spread you all out by working up or running split or calling by zone or some such. We will cross that bridge when needed by devising a plan of attack. I am sure more than one of you have ideas. Good, tell me what I need to learn and I will learn it.

On to the lists.
