Happy Birthday Spence,
Take your time, have fun with the build. When you have #5400 running
to your satisfaction you are cordially invited to join us on the Elecraft
CW Net. Just watch this Reflector for announcements each Saturday
evening. Each Sunday evening we meet both on 20 and 40 meters to chat a
bit, check the propagation, and see who we can hear. We try to have fun
and meet new folks. We exchange callsigns, names, rig types, and serial
numbers. Once that is said and done we talk about the weather, kids, and
just stuff. Every so often we get a request for another state so you can
get your Elecraft WAS award. Please join us when you are ready. Do not
rush the build though. Building your Elecraft rig is only one of the
enjoyable parts of owning them. Using it afterwards is quite enjoyable
too.
If you have any problems at all with your kit please ask your questions
here. Don, W3FPR, Tom, N0SS, Ron, AC7AC, and many others can give you
direction. The last resort? Ask Gary: I think he can fix most anything
that could possibly go wrong with your K2!! They are all friendly and all
available for you on this Reflector. Me? I am just the NCS of ECN. I
let you use the rig they've helped you craft. Remember, the folks at
Elecraft will not allow you fail!
