Rich, I also have the PRO3 and K2/MD2. Have a Heil PR40 but didn't put it on the K2. Have it on the PRO3 and KWM2A. When you have a K2 solution, let me know because no matter how well it is adjusted, it sucks on SSB. I rarely use the K2 on SSB, but if I take it on vacation, would like it to sound good.

I find this tread interesting as I have get to get a "great" audio report on my K2. Right off the bat I bought a MD2 mike in a boom. I moved the PR780 over to the k2 and was told he audio is much improved over the MD2 but its no where near the Pro III. I assumed this to be typical of the K2 as this is my second one (both late serial) and both had similar audio. Not bad by any means, but no one has said..... You sound great, what are you using ! I have a 705 and might give it a try. If it works I would have to steal the element and put it in something else. I just cant stand the plastic feel of the TT mike ! Although for me they have worked the best on the multitude of TT rigs I have owned.
