Thanks for all the comments about the signal link. I found the problem when checking Airlink express, I had the volume and tx levels set to almost zero, in Airlink express so whenI reset them to max, everything popped into life and all my other digital programs then worked perfectly.
Next to try and set up the microham for digital work. All advice very gratefully accepted.
