I am going to order a K3S and have my filter selection figured out OK for CW and SSB. However I want to do a little BCB and SWL listening on AM. At this time no plans to transmit AM. I live in rural Alaska and there are no strong BCB or SW broadcast stations close to my QTH. Is there any reason to equip my my K3S with either the 6 kHz or FM filter roofing filters for AM reception or will the DSP filter do the job. I realize that if I want to tx AM I will need to install the 6kHz filter. My interests are 99% CW and my cw filters will include the 700Hz filter which I have already obtained. Thanks, Rick KL7CW ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected]
