Yes. I use it to drive a relay that switches power to a lot of shack accessories, like antenna switching relays, a Beverage preamp, the band decoders for my bandpass filters, computer video monitors, etc. I did that when I found that the relatively small but constant drain running 24/7 was depleting much of the charge my solar panels was putting into my batteries!
