Re: Can anybody tell me why I should buy also a KX2? I am considering buying a KX2, and using my KX3 as my dedicated home station. That would eliminate the need to constantly pug and unplug cables when I go into the field. I have been operating my KX3 in the field with the IF shift engaged (which also bypasses the roofing filters) to simulate the KX2 receiver (I think), and it works great.
