Where available, a clear gel product called Contralube 770 also works well (www.contralube.com ).
Back when Deoxit was more difficult to buy in Europe, I used Contralube 770 to cure intermittent contacts on all of the multi-way front panel connectors, which have given no further trouble for 7 years. Like all of these products, a little goes a very long way.
