Hi Mark,

Go into the KXPA Utility and bring up the Operation Screen. The KXPA is pretty
sensitive to its supply voltage so you want to check to make sure it isn't
sagging below 13.8 volts while you are transmitting.

The Utilities operate screen is really useful to watch a lot of things going on.

Cheers,

Subject: [Elecraft] KXPA100 not sending 100w

I have a KX3 / KXPA100 combo. Both are on latest generally available
firmware.

I can run the power calibration process as documented. My dummy load is
100w capable.

After the power calibration process, the amp only seems to put out 60w or
so across the bands. I cannot seem to get it to do more than that. Is there
something I'm missing or am I facing a hardware issue?

Mark, WN8U
