For those of you that have RealPlayer installed and a broadband connection
(and have interest)..........
I was did a screen video capture of the Callsign K2 software today. This
version is in BETA and is getting close to release.
The K2 serial interface has been a challenge to say the least and because of
this several areas have special timing profilers built into to slow the
radio commands down to a point where the K2 can keep up.
Currently, the DSP section is undergoing a major workover to speed commands
up. Not a problem with the DSP itself but apparently the K2 auxbus.
You will notice that DSP filter buttons are labeled from querying the DSP.
There is also LC and HC +/- buttons so you can set your upper and lower
filters from the software. The NR has adjustable parameters as well.
Anyway, its a "CRUDE" run through of the radio. Thought I would share with
the group. I am guessing this version will be available in the next two
weeks depending on how timing issues work out.
