Dave,
The headphone audio amplifier and the speaker audio amplifier are
different ICs in the K3. I suspect that the speaker amplifier has failed.
I suggest that you contact Elecraft support.
If you are capable of SMD repair, they can tell you which IC to change.
If you are not able to work with SMD, it likely has to go to Watsonville.
In either case contact with support is the starting point for either
process. Get into the email queue right now, they have a lot of email
backlog to sort through on Mondays.
