Hello Elecrafters, I have decided to install KPAIO3MDKT on the K3S, I'm just starting to build, which means soldering one electrolytic capacitor on two existing pads on the KPAI03 module board. I don't know it the Elecraft modules - or all PCB devices in the USA - use leaded or non-leaded solder. Anyway, can I use my leaded solder to do this job ?
My soldering iron and my leaded solder haven't been used significantly since I finished my K2-100 and my KAT100 in 2007, so that my solder has been bought before no-leaded solder became the norm (at least) in Europe.
