The station has a bank of 4 marine batteries and a 1 kw inverter backing up the K3s, kat500, Steppir controller, Green heron rotor and the computer. Power outages are a regular occurrence at this remote location in Upstate New York, However; the first thing that would happen in this case would have been the K3s would have powered down and not restarted.
