After some serious teeth-gnashing and head scratching, I've decided to run my K3 and KX3 barefoot. So, I'm putting up for sale my KPA500 160-6 meter, 500-watt plus solid state amp and the matching auto antenna tuner, the KAT500. The amp is serial number 1749 and the tuner is serial number 1004. Both are in superb operating and physical condition and have no scratches, dings, or blemishes of any kind. They've spent their entire life at this non-smoking QTH. All originally-supplied Elecraft cables and assembly/operating manuals are included. Both were assembled by me and neither has ever had any sort of problem.
Price for the two units is $2,300 plus shipping - AND no sales tax charged to California buyers! I would prefer selling to someone in the Sacramento or SF Bay Area if possible, avoiding having to ship that heavy amp and thus no shipping fee if you pick it up. I can deliver it within a 100 mile radius of Folsom for free, too. I prefer selling them as a package, but would consider selling them separately. Please contact me off-list if you are interested.
