This really does sound like a great idea and something I should incorporate into my new K2.
Although, looking at their website I couldn't tell the difference between an UNPCB and a Rework Eliminator. The whole thing left me confused...I'm sure it's mostly just me, but it's going to take some more head scratching before I can determine what I need. While I shudder at the thought of opening up a finished K2, I did build a KX1 with tuner and 30m board, so I can do anything! 8-) 73, Ken Alexander VE3HLS --- Joerg Tack <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Here's my report to share my experiences & ideas: > - Rework Elimination - > Now that I've started assembling the add-on modules > (K160M, KAF2, KSB2, > KNB2) I'm more than happy not to take the K2 apart > again for rework related > to every module but plugging the modules in > replacing the appendant UNPCBs. > > All I can say: > It's a great thing not requirering any disassembling > when installing the > options now one at a time after finishing them! > Ken, Gary and whoever else was involved in getting > these things out as a > little add-on value product did a great job. _______________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Post to: [email protected] You must be a subscriber to post to the list.
